The Topaz safety shoe from Coverguard is a low-cut, full-grain oiled leather safety shoe lined with breathable mesh. Reinforcements are placed at the front and rear of the foot to ensure optimal protection and extend the longevity of the shoe. It is equipped with a non-slip sole that is resistant to slipping on steel and ceramic floors.
This metal-free safety shoe has a protective composite toe cap and an anti-perforation textile sole that promotes the lightness of the model. Its outsole is resistant to very high temperatures on contact (up to 300°C for one minute).

Additional information:
EN ISO 20345 protective shells and toe caps are resistant to energ energy of 200 Joules. This energy corresponds to a 20 kg object falling from a height of one meter. On crushing (fall height equal to 0), the 200J protective shell resists a force equivalent to 1,500 kg.

Thanks to its particular shape adapted to the morphology of the foot, its thermal insulation, its lightness and on return to crushing, the COMPOSITE shell offers great comfort, in addition to all the properties present in the textile anti-perforation sole.

Metal free
Coverguard Footwear respecting the "metal free" characteristic do not contain any metallic element.
The toe cap is made of ABS or composite, the anti-perforation textile sole and all accessories are non-metallic. The choice of a Metal Free shoe is the guarantee of a shoe of greater lightness and increased flexibility.
Resistance of the sole to heat (max 300°)
Coverguard Footwear shoes complying with the “HRO” characteristic have a rubber contact sole. The technical characteristics of these soles allow them to evolve on high temperature floors (max 300°) without altering their performance.

The heat emanating from your feet must be evacuated in order to guarantee optimal conditions of use and performance. This is why the breathability of the materials used in all Coverguard Footwear shoes has been tested to guarantee maximum comfort of use.
