The Puma Crosstwist Low S3 SRC safety trainers feature a protective shell made of fiberglass materials resistant to 200 joules. They have a breathable Breathactive lining for more comfort, and insoles with IdCell cushioning and heat-resistant up to 300°.

The EN 20345 standardized protective shells and end caps withstand an energy of 200 Joules. This energy corresponds to a 20 kg object falling from a height of one meter. On crushing (fall height equal to 0), the 200J protective shell resists a force equivalent to 1,500 kg.
