EN ISO 20345 protective shells and toe caps are resistant to energ energy of 200 Joules. This energy corresponds to a 20 kg object falling from a height of one meter. On crushing (fall height equal to 0), the 200J protective shell resists a force equivalent to 1,500 kg.
