This safety boot is made of PVC and lined with nylon. It has a protective steel shell at the front of the foot resistant to 200 joules. Its PVC sole resists slipping on ceramic floors, it also resists hydrocarbons, and absorbs shocks through the heel.

The EN IS 20345 protective shells and toe caps withstand an energy of 200 Joules. This energy corresponds to a 20 kg object falling from a height of one meter. On crushing (fall height equal to 0), the 200J protective shell resists a force equivalent to 1,500 kg.
