-S4: this classification is the combination of the S1 classification, but with antistatic soles. They also allow energy absorption in the heel.

-S5: this classification also combines the S1 classification with anti-perforation soles and studded soles.

Additional standards may be added to these classifications, the markings of which are completed in letters: A, FO, E, HRO, HI, SRA/SRB/SRC, P, HI, ESD, etc.

-A: refers to safety shoes with an antistatic and anti-abrasion sole

-FO: refers to safety shoes with a oil and hydrocarbon resistant sole

-E: designates safety footwear with an energy-absorbing sole in the heel part

-HRO: refers to safety footwear with heat resistance up to 300°C

-HI: refers to footwear with heat insulation

-SRA: safety footwear with a non-slip sole resistant to slipping on ceramic surface floors

-SRB: safety footwear with non-slip sole resistant to slipping on steel floors

-SRC: combines the SRA and SRB

-P: shoes with an anti-perforation sole

-HI: footwear with thermal insulation

-ESD: shoes that dissipate electrostatic discharges.
