How to work in the rain?

Raincoat for men and women

Among the work clothes against the rain, the raincoat remains a must. The waterproof criterion of the garment is decisive if the activities take place largely outdoors. This specificity is to be considered particularly in the event of bad weather and thunderstorms.

What is a raincoat called?

How to choose rain gear?

To better choose clothing during the rainy season, it should be selected taking into account certain criteria. Clothing must be at least water-repellent, water-repellent and waterproof.

• Class 3: Heavy rain;
• Class 4: Intense rain.

Weather conditions

The climatic conditions remain a criterion to be taken into account when selecting clothing. It can be rain, wind, hail, etc. Here are the classes of clothing to choose depending on the weather:

• Waterproof and lined outfit: Cold and rain;
• Unlined waterproof garment: Rain without cold;
• Waterproof garment with windproof fabric: Rain and wind;
• Softshell-type water-repellent outfit: Light weather;
• Water-repellent softshell-type garment with inner lining: Light weather and cold;
• Complete 100% waterproof rain gear: Severe weather.

The breathability of rainwear remains essential for the comfort of workers. This mainly helps to prevent perspiration. Their weight also matters.
