Standards:
- EN ISO 11612 A1B1C1: This standard specifies performance requirements for flexible garments known to protect the human body, except against hands, heat and/or flames.
- EN IEC 61482-1-2 Class 1 (4 kA): This section of this standard specifies methods for testing materials and garments intended to provide good resistance to heat and flame when exposed to arcing electrical. The purpose of the test is to simulate an accident with an electric arc in a low voltage installation. The material test is used to determine the thermal insulation and the risk of injury to the skin and to ensure that the garment is still usable after these tests.
- EN 1149-5: EN 1149-5 specifies requirements for materials and design of electrostatic dissipative protective clothing, used as an integral part of a grounded assembly, to prevent discharges that may cause a fire. Requirements may not be sufficient in flammable oxygen-rich atmospheres.
