These shoes are designed according to level S3 regulatory protection, so they have a high grip on the ground and good resistance to perforation, hydrocarbons and electrostatic charges. EN 20345 protective shells and toecaps withstand an energy of 200 Joules. This energy corresponds to a 20 kg object falling from a height of one meter. On crushing (fall height equal to 0), the 200J protective shell resists a force equivalent to 1,500 kg.
