The Coverguard Volcanite S3 safety shoe is a full-grain leather high-top safety shoe with padded ankle protector and tongue. Its nitrile rubber sole is non-slip on ceramic floors (SRC standard) and resistant to very high temperatures (up to 300°C on contact for one minute, HRO standard).
This model guarantees foot protection thanks to with a protective toe cap and an anti-perforation steel midsole.

EN ISO 20345 protective shells and toe caps are resistant to heavy 200 Joules power. This energy corresponds to a 20 kg object falling from a height of one meter. On crushing (fall height equal to 0), the 200J protective shell resists a force equivalent to 1,500 kg.
Resistance of the sole to heat (max 300°)
Coverguard Footwear shoes complying with the “HRO” characteristic have a rubber contact sole. The technical characteristics of these soles allow them to evolve on high temperature floors (max 300°) without altering their performance.
